When Anthony first came to me and his father about the trip to Mission Wolf we did not know what to say, the way we felt about him going on the trip would definitely be that we were nervous and had a lot of questions, but also very excited that he had an opportunity like this! We felt like it would be a great learning opportunity and life experience. The way we felt Anthony was before the trip would be very excited but a bit nervous, he was counting down the days, Anthony is very adventurous, and always up to trying something new! We went over the packing check list countless times to make sure nothing that he needed was left behind, the parents meeting a few days before was great for me, because I had a lot of questions answered, my mind was definitely more at ease after the meeting! The contact with Anthony while he was gone was ok, he let us know through text when he was taking off on the plane and when he landed, also when he arrived at Mission:Wolf ( I was on the airport website checking on the departures and arrivals as well). We were happy that he had cell phone service there and was able to keep in contact, there was one day that we didn't hear from him at all(because he didn't charge his phone) and was a bit worried but knew he must be ok because we didn't receive a phone call from Mr. Guile or Mrs.Chapin:). We knew that he was having a great time with a very busy schedule! We believe that Anthony was able to learn from the wolves, the way they live and take care of each other and apply it to his everyday life.
